About Green Rose Trust

Our Mission

Inspired by Swami Vivekananda's call for India to arise and awake, Green Rose Trust was born out of a profound desire to bring the change our society desperately needs. We believe in initiating a New Turning Point by stirring the minds and souls of our people.

Through our flagship initiative, Ek Sankraman magazine, and our extensive community development programs, we work tirelessly to light the lamp of awareness and action across Maharashtra and beyond.

Our approach combines intellectual stimulation through quality publications with on-ground action in education and community development, particularly focusing on tribal and marginalized communities.

Our Development Initiatives

Recognizing education as the most effective tool for eradicating poverty, we've undertaken several initiatives to strengthen educational infrastructure in tribal regions of Maharashtra and Jharkhand.

2001 - 2005

Value Education Programs

Organized free full-day sex awareness and value education programs for students in Talasari, providing food and travel expenses to all participants.

2006

Inter-School Sports Competition

Hosted a large-scale sports competition in Uplat, Talasari with participation from over 400 students and distribution of 100+ prizes, supported by organizations like State Bank of India.

2007 - 2010

Awareness Talk Series

Organized a series of awareness talks featuring renowned experts on career guidance and employability enhancement, benefiting large audiences in tribal areas.

School Library Development

Initiated a School Library Development Project in four schools in Talasari and Dahanu to empower youth by promoting a culture of reading and learning.
